This thing is beautiful! Not only is the Nook Color more stylish on the outside, but that color screen finally does something for me. First 3000 n200 battery off is the new look. Performance and Benchmarks

In terms of raw performance, the ASUS U33JC-A1 is a bit of a mixed bag. This allows the user to switch between different profiles like EA Games, which lets the user demo games and use EA titles for your wallpaper, or The Big Apple, which has New-York-centric apps VGP-BPS9A/B and wallpaper.

At $149, the Transform doesn’t price right and doesn’t fit well into Sprint’s competition. For those VGP-BPS9/B who want a low-end QWERTY Android phone, there is the Samsung Intercept for $99. If you can live without a keyboard, the $199 HTC Evo VGP-BPS9/S 4G is a better deal. If you need a keyboard, the $249 Epic 4G is worth the investment, especially when considering the cost over two years

A lot of phone names these days seem pretty random, but in this case, the name actually fits the product. Thanks to the new Sprint ID feature, the VGP-BPS8A Samsung Transform lets you download different packs of apps, widgets, and shortcuts to literally transform this Android phone's VGP-BPS2 personality. Choices range from branded ID packs such as Yahoo and EA to themes including Golf Enthusiast and Entertainment. This $149 device also VGP-BPS2A features a comfy slide-out keyboard and a front-facing camera for video calls, perks lower-end Sprint ID-capable phones such as the LG Optimus S ($49) and the Sanyo Zio ($99) lack. Still, $149 is a lot to spend on a device that doesn't have 4G data capability or a high-res screen. Does VGP-BPS2B the Transform have enough going for it, or would that dough be better spent on an Evo 4G or Epic 4G?

Design

At least with the 3.5-inch screen off, the Transform could easily be mistaken for the Epic 4G. They're VGP-BPS2C both solidly built handsets with unassuming rounded edged and hard black plastic on the back. The Transform measures 4.6 x 2.4 x .6 inches VGP-BPS13A/Q and weighs 5.4 ounces, while the Epic is taller and slightly wider and heavier (4.9 x 2.5 x 0.6 inches and 5.5 ounces), owing to its larger 4-inch display. This is a reasonable size and weight for a phone with a physical keyboard, which slides out VGP-BPS13/B easily.

The top of the device has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a microUSB port. The right side VGP-BPS13B/B has a volume rocker, and the left side has three buttons--one for power/sleep, one for voice commands, and one for the VGP-BPS13B/Q camera.

Display

The Transform has a 3.5-inch HVGA touch screen with 480 x 320 resolution. The screen can get plenty bright if the user chooses, but VGP-BPS13/Q colors are muted and text looked fuzzy on some pages. The screen takes to fingerprints and smudges easily. Compared to the good battery Epic 4G's 4-inch Super AMOLED screen with 800 x 480 resolution, the Transform's display looks lackluster.

Keyboards

The full QWERTY keyboard on the Transform is dell battery the best feature the device has to offer. Gray keys and orange accents give it a hip feel. It's very comfortable overall, and there is enough spacing to type quickly and accurately. We only wish that the flat keys were raised a little more. Design

Zubehör und Softwareausstattung

Einen üppigen Lieferumfang sollten Sie vom Satellite L650D-10H nicht erwarten. Eingabegeräte

Tastatur

Bei den Eingabegeräten liefert das Satellite L650D-10H eine gute Vorstellung ab. Die Full-Size-Tastatur kann vor allem mit ihren wohl akku dimensionierten Tasten (16 x 16 mm) und ihrem tadellosen Layout punkten. Über eine Beleuchtung verfügt die Tastatur zwar nicht, dafür hat Sony VGP-BPS9 Battery Toshiba an einen dedizierten Nummernblock gedacht. For just $189, the Kindle 3G offers improved battery life, display technology, and can connect over Wi-Fi as well as 3G. In almost every way, the Kindle 3G is an improvement over the previous generation, VGP-BPS13A/B with a few minor exceptions. Regardless, bookworms will find the Kindle 3G to be one of the best eReaders on the market.

Design

Aside from the graphite paint job, Amazon also brought some significant design VGP-BPS13/B changes in the Kindle 3G. Overall, this new generation is thinner and lighter and has a smaller footprint. At just 7.5 x 4.8 x 0.34 inches and 8.7 VGP-BPS13B/B ounces (compared to 8.0 x 5.3 x 0.36 inches and 10.2 ounces for the previous model ), it's almost as small and light as the Kobo Reader. In making the unit thinner, it looks like Amazon had to shuffle some internal VGP-BPS13A/S components around. Now the On/Sleep/Off slider is on the bottom--less convenient, but only a minor annoyance--along with the microUSB VGP-BPS13/Q port, headphone jack, and volume toggle. The buttons on the sides and lower portion of the device's face are more streamlined and, in some cases, smaller.

The page turn buttons are one of the more obvious changes, being only 0.16 inches thick instead of the 0.4-inch thickness VGP-BPS9 on the Kindle 2. We had feared that the narrower buttons would affect ease of use, but all four are easy to press, yet firm, making for good feedback VGP-BPS8 and a sturdy feel. There are now both Next and Previous Page buttons on both sides, so both left and right-handed readers can use their dominant VGP-BPS9A/B hand. Plus, the Next Page buttons remain the same length as before, allowing users to rest their thumbs comfortably on them no matter what size hand they have. We had no trouble keeping our thumb in place and our eyes on the display VGP-BPS9/B as we read.

The joystick of Kindles past has been replaced with a directional pad that sits VGP-BPS9/S next to the keyboard instead of under the page turn buttons on the right side. We're not fans of this change, as the arrow keys here are very narrow, VGP-BPS8A and occasionally caused us to accidentally hit the Menu and Back VGP-BPS2 buttons, which have moved down to the keyboard area along with Home.

The keyboard remains usable, but we're not sure why Amazon got rid of the number VGP-BPS2A row. To access numbers, users have to press the SYM button, then use the D-pad to select. When entering Wi-Fi passwords or location numbers VGP-BPS2B in books, this quickly becomes tedious.

Display and Reading Experience

Amazon claims that the e-Ink screen on the Kindle 3G has 50 percent more contrast than the previous generation. Comparing VGP-BPS2C the two side by side, text on the 3G is darker, which makes reading easier. Images benefit from this improvement as well: pa3535u-1brs The cover for N. K. Users have more control over how the text looks on screen. Design

Despite its diminutive size, the Alpha NEX-3 feels solid in hand; much of this has to do with the metal lens, which dominates the camera. The body itself is a silver-colored plastic, but consumers can opt Akku Sony VGP-BPS8a for red or a black. At 4.4 x 2.4 x 1.6 inches, the NEX-3 is slightly smaller than the latest Olympus PEN E-PL1 (4.5 x 2.8 x 1.6 inches), and, at 10.1 ounces, it’s about 2 ounces lighter. The Panasonic DMC-G10K, another Micro Four Thirds camera, weighs in at a hefty 19.7 ounces.

User Interface

The major knock we have on the Alpha NEX-3 is its user interface, which, while tailored Dell Studio 17 Battery for novices, can become convoluted. For example, if you want to switch shooting modes, you have to press the Menu button, select Shoot Mode, then rotate the dial. As you change modes, the camera offers helpful on-screen dialogue saying what each mode is best suited for.

Another annoyance is that can’t view both recorded stills and videos together; it’s needlessly complicated having to switch to a different menu to see a movie when you’re just trying to scroll through everything you shot. We preferred using the image index, which displays thumbnails in a grid; at least here, it’s obvious (by a tab on the left side) that you’ve actually taken videos, too.

Performance and Features

Photos taken with the NEX-3 looked excellent. The camera adapted well to a variety of shooting conditions, and colors were downright vibrant; oranges, purples, and reds on flowers popped.

The NEX-3 has a huge ISO range of 200 to 12800; even cranked up to 1600, photos taken VGP-BPS13B/Q at a nighttime softball game illuminated by just overhead lights showed very little noise, and the camera was able to freeze the action on the field. Even though we kept the flash on the camera at all times, we rarely found ourselves using it. When we did require this function, it didn’t wash out the foreground of our photos.

The Intelligent Auto mode is well-suited for those VGP-BPS13/B who know nothing of f-stops, shutter speed, or depth of field. A feature called Background Defocus (see test shot to the right) does just that—turning the dial on the back brings the background into focus, or blurs it. What the camera is really doing is adjusting the f-stop, but if you’re just starting out, you don’t need to know that, do you? Even for more advanced shooters, it’s a nice convenience.

Another excellent feature on the NEX-3 is the Auto High Dynamic Range function, which snaps three shots in quick succession—each at a different aperture setting—and combines them into one photo (pictured below). When used artistically, it creates truer-than-life images, but for more practical purposes, it was helpful when we wanted to E6400 Battery photograph a dark foreground with a light background. The NEX-3 was able to bring out details in green shrubs while letting us see the definition of white clouds in a blue sky.

When you use Panorama mode, you’ll think the NEX-3 has a mind of its own. Once you press the shutter on the NEX-3, the camera starts firing away madly; all you have to do is move it from left to right. The camera stitched the pictures in a few seconds, and did so well. Even when taking a panorama in a small room, we saw very few errors.

Video

The NEX-3 is capable of taking 1440 x 1080-resolution Vostro 1510 Battery video at 30 frames per second, and 640 x 480 videos at 60 fps. As with stills, video was quite good; footage of a group of people using hula hoops was smooth as the rings circled around their bellies, and the NEX-3 automatically adjusted its focus to keep things sharp. The stereo mics on the camera (found on either side of the flash) also picked up excellent sound.

Battery Life

Sony rates the camera’s battery at approximately 300 photos; Sony Laptop Battery we shot about half that, as well as a few videos, and saw the battery life drop below 50 percent. Three hundred pictures may seem like a lot, but we found ourselves charging the NEX-3 more often than we’d like. To be fair, the Olympus Pen E-PL1 is rated for fewer shots (290), but the upcoming Panasonic DMC-G10K has a rating of 380 images. Bottom line: if you’ll be doing a lot of shooting we suggest springing for an additional battery ($79.99) so you can have a charged spare handy.

Verdict

The Sony Alpha NEX-3 is very close to an ideal camera for travelers who want to get great shots on good battery the road, but don’t want to lug around a full-size DSLR or mess too much with settings. At $599, it’s about the same price as a prosumer DSLR such as the Canon T2i or Nikon D5000, and takes great-looking photos and HD video. While we wish its menu structure were less convoluted and the battery life longer, we can’t argue with the results.
