Sofern notebook akkus viele externe Geräte (Monitor, Router, Festplatte etc.) angeschlossen sind, sehen sich gerade Linkshänder mit einem eingeschränkten Platzangebot seitlich des Notebooks konfrontiert - der Einsatz einer Maus kann zum Problem werden. Drahtlose Kommunikation wird indes lediglich per WLAN ermöglicht, laptop akkus Bluetooth fehlt.

Zubehör und Softwareausstattung

Einen üppigen Lieferumfang sollten Sie vom Satellite L650D-10H nicht erwarten. Neben notebook einem Netzteil (75 Watt), einem Handbuch und einer Kurzanleitung sind in der Verpackung keine weiteren Beigaben (z.B. Treiber-DVDs) laptop enthalten. Wer das Betriebssystem extern sichern will, muss eigenhändig Recovery-DVDs brennen, akku entsprechende Datenträger zählen nicht zur Ausstattung.

Boot-, Start- und Ladezeiten leiden ebenfalls über Gebühr. Um das volle Potenzial des Satellite L650D-10H ans Tageslicht zu bringen, führt deshalb akku kein Weg an einer ausgiebigen Deinstallation vorbei.

Eingabegeräte

Tastatur

Bei den Eingabegeräten liefert das Satellite L650D-10H eine gute Vorstellung ab. Die Full-Size-Tastatur kann vor allem mit ihren wohl akku dimensionierten Tasten (16 x 16 mm) und ihrem tadellosen Layout punkten. Über eine Beleuchtung verfügt die Tastatur zwar nicht, dafür hat Sony VGP-BPS9 Battery Toshiba an einen dedizierten Nummernblock gedacht. Nimmt man alle Einzelaspekte zusammen, siedelt sich das Display qualitativ im Mittelfeld an. Gerade was Schwarzwert und Kontrast angeht, bleibt noch viel Luft nach oben.

Amazon Kindle 3G

The newest refresh to the Kindle line is sleeker and slimmer with a better VGP-BPS13 screen and more wireless options.

Amazon's latest refresh of its popular Kindle eBook VGP-BPS13A/Q reader is leaner, meaner, and now less than $200. For just $189, the Kindle 3G offers improved battery life, display technology, and can connect over Wi-Fi as well as 3G. In almost every way, the Kindle 3G is an improvement over the previous generation, VGP-BPS13A/B with a few minor exceptions. Regardless, bookworms will find the Kindle 3G to be one of the best eReaders on the market.

Design

Aside from the graphite paint job, Amazon also brought some significant design VGP-BPS13/B changes in the Kindle 3G. Overall, this new generation is thinner and lighter and has a smaller footprint. At just 7.5 x 4.8 x 0.34 inches and 8.7 VGP-BPS13B/B ounces (compared to 8.0 x 5.3 x 0.36 inches and 10.2 ounces for the previous model ), it's almost as small and light as the Kobo Reader. The Kindle shares one other similarity to the Kobo: The back of the device, which used to be metallic, now VGP-BPS13B/Q has a soft-touch coating.

In making the unit thinner, it looks like Amazon had to shuffle some internal VGP-BPS13A/S components around. Now the On/Sleep/Off slider is on the bottom--less convenient, but only a minor annoyance--along with the microUSB VGP-BPS13/Q port, headphone jack, and volume toggle. The buttons on the sides and lower portion of the device's face are more streamlined and, in some cases, smaller.

The page turn buttons are one of the more obvious changes, being only 0.16 inches thick instead of the 0.4-inch thickness VGP-BPS9 on the Kindle 2. We had feared that the narrower buttons would affect ease of use, but all four are easy to press, yet firm, making for good feedback VGP-BPS8 and a sturdy feel. There are now both Next and Previous Page buttons on both sides, so both left and right-handed readers can use their dominant VGP-BPS9A/B hand. Plus, the Next Page buttons remain the same length as before, allowing users to rest their thumbs comfortably on them no matter what size hand they have. The joystick of Kindles past has been replaced with a directional pad that sits VGP-BPS9/S next to the keyboard instead of under the page turn buttons on the right side. Display and Reading Experience

Amazon claims that the e-Ink screen on the Kindle 3G has 50 percent more contrast than the previous generation. Users have more control over how the text looks on screen. Apple TV (2010)

Zum Vorgänger-Prozessor Atom dell m1530 akku Z540 (1.86 GHz) hat sich außer der Taktung nichts verändert. Auch jetzt rechnet der extrem sparsame Prozessor mit einem Maximalverbrauch (TDP) von nur 2.4 Watt. Aktuelle Atom-CPUs mit hohem Takt (N475, 6.5 Watt) haben zwar einen deutlich höheren TDP, jedoch sind Speichercontroller und GMA 3150 im Chip integriert.

Das Vaio X13 gibt seine Bildinformationen über die Intel GMA 500 des Poulsbo-Chipsatzes aus. Die GPU kann den Prozessor akku sony vgp-bps2b nicht bei der Wiedergabe von HD-Videos unterstützen (Hardwarebeschleunigung), denn sie bietet keine Funktionen zur H.264, MPEG-2, VC-1 und AVC Dekodierung, wie eine Intel HD in den Core i3 und i5-CPUs. Wir ziehen den Single-Core Benchmark Cinebench R10 32Bit zu Rate. 657 Punkte fährt der Z550 ein und liegt damit über dem N470 (1.83 GHz, 610 Punkte, -7%). Die in Massen eingesetzten N450er schaffen zirka 590 Punkte (-11%).

Groß sind die Unterschiede nicht, ändert sich das, wenn akku dell inspiron 6400 beide Threads (Hyper Threading) rechnen? Wir bemühen den Cinebench R10 Multi. 980 Punkte schafft der Z550 hier. Ein N470 liegt bei 930 Punkten (-5%), ein N450er bei zirka 900 (-8%).

Die Unterschiede zum typischen N450-Netbook sind also gering, ein CULV-Prozessor wie SU7300 (Beispiel, Anfang 2009 aktuell) hätte dem Preis des Vaio X13 besser entsprochen. Die Crux liegt aber im deutlich höheren TDP der Ultra Low Voltage Prozessoren. Ein Core 2 Duo SU7300 (zwei Kerne) hat eine TDP von 10 dell inspiron 1720 akku Watt. Die Abwärme würde den winzigen Kühler/Kühlkörper überfordern und die Kunden würden sich über ein heißes Subnotebook beschweren. Dem Hersteller blieb während der Entwicklung des Gerätes Anfang 2009 gar keine andere Option, als auf Poulsbo und Atom Z zu setzen.

Die überdurchschnittliche Netbook-Leistung des Prozessors und des mit 2.048 MB DDR2 bestückten akku dell latitude d820 Chipsatzes manifestiert sich in einem geringen PCMark Vantage Score von 1.515 Punkten. Im Vergleich zu aktuellen Netbooks ist die Leistung damit um 14 Prozent gestiegen. N450 Minis liegen bei zirka 1.330 Punkten. Geschlagen muss sich der Vaio aber dem AMD „SubNetbook“ Acer Aspire One 521 mit Athlon K125 geben. Dieser erreicht 1.686 Punkte (+11%) und kostet gerade einmal 325 Euro.

Grund für die trotzdem brauchbare Geschwindigkeit des Systems Akku Dell Latitude D620 ist nicht nur die Taktung sondern auch die hohe Geschwindigkeit bei den Speicherzugriffen. Der Samsung Flash-Speicher erreicht 11.147 Punkte im HDD Score. Die schnellen Lese/Schreibwerte verhelfen den anderen Sub-Scores des PCMark Vantage zu Verbesserungen. Der Productivity-Score liegt bei 1.892 Punkten. Atom N450 Netbooks mit 5.400 RPM Festplatten sind mit z. B. 1.025 Punkten (Samsung NP-N230, -85%) deutlich abgeschlagen.

In die Performance-Nähe eines aktuellen Subnotebooks wie dem Acer Aspire 1830T-52U4G32n kommt der Vaio X13 aber bei weitem Akku Dell Latitude D610 nicht. Seine 3.950 PCMark Vantage Punkte erreicht das 1830T mit i5-520UM CPU selbst ohne einen schnellen SSD-Speicher

Sony verbaut im Vaio X13 keine Festplatte sondern einen SSD-Speicher. Die Bruttokapazität beträgt Akku Dell Latitude D630 128 GByte. Der Hersteller wählt ein Samsung ATA-Laufwerk mit der Bezeichnung MMCRE28GFDXP-MVB. Die ersten Seriengeräte des Vaio X waren mit einer MMCRE28GFMXP-MVB ausgerüstet.

SSD-Speicher sind für ihre schnellen Lese-Zugriffe bekannt. Der HD Akku Dell Latitude D830 Tune zeigt uns aber nur einen Lesenden Datendurchsatz von 66.9 MByte/s. Das wäre nicht schneller als typische 2.5-Zoll Notebook Festplatten. Woher kommt nun der sehr hohe HDD Score des PCMark Vantage von 11.147 Punkten?

Während rotierende HDDs, je nach innerer oder äußerer akku Position der Lese/Schreibköpfe, starke Abweichungen in der Lesegeschwindigkeit haben (z. B. Min 30, Max 72, Avg. 61 MB/s) liegt die SSD fast konstant auf 63.7 bis 68.4 MB/s. Dadurch hat die SSD bessere Zugriffsraten als typische Notebook HDDs. Die Screens zeigen zum Vergleich die Crystal Disk Mark Messwerte eine normalen 5.400 RPM HDD und der Samsung SSD im Vaio X13. Am deutlichsten sind die schnelleren Lese-Durchsätze bei kleinen akku Dateien (512K, 4k).

Emissionen

Sonys Vaio X besitzt einen aktiven Lüfter. Das Gehäuse wird nicht passiv gekühlt. Ein Akku Sony VGP-BPS8 solcher Kühlkörper benötigt Raum und hat zudem durch seine massive Konstruktion ein relativ hohes Gewicht. Auch wenn nur ein Prozessor-TDP von höchstens 2.4 Watt abgeführt werden muss, entschied sich der Hersteller für die konventionelle Kühlmethode.

Das Kühlsystem kennt mehrere dell m1530 akku Drehzahlstufen und schaltete sich im Betrieb niemals aus. Es ist stets ein leises Surren zu vernehmen, auch im Idle (30.4 bis 31.3 dB(A)). Sofern der Atom Z550 unter konstanter, hoher Last steht, macht sich die Kühlung mit bis zu 34.4 dB(A) bemerkbar. Wer genau hinhört erkennt die Charakteristik des Geräusches als kleinen Rennmotor. Wirklich störend ist das Geräusch aber nicht, zumal es konstant läuft und nur bei dauerhafter Höchstlast (CPU + GPU) auftritt.

Temperatur

Die Temperaturen auf den Flächen des flachen Gehäuses sind ohne Belastung (Idle) relativ gering aber unter Stress mit bis akku sony vgp-bps2b zu 46 Grad recht hoch. Unter Last bedeutete einen Stresstest von einer Stunde mit Prime95 (CPU) und einem wiederholten 3DMark05 (3DMark06 läuft nicht).

Weil sich unter der Handauflage nur der Akku aber kein Mainboard befindet, bleibt dieses dell vostro 1400 akku Areal jederzeit mit zirka 27 Grad angenehm kühl. Der wärmste Bereich auf der Bodenplatte erhitzt sich auf deutlich fühlbare 40 bis 46 Grad.

Musik-Hören mit dem Vaio X kann man nur mit akku dell inspiron 6400 Kopfhörern. Der eingebaute Solo-Lautsprecher auf der Unterseite beschallt den Tisch und lässt alle Tiefen und Mitten vermissen. Zum Anschluss von Kopfhörern oder Lautsprechern gibt es auf der linken Seite eine 3.5-Zoll Klinke Buchse. Ein Mikrofon-Eingang ist nicht vorhanden.

Akkulaufzeit

Der extrem niedrige Stromverbrauch der Prozessor-Chipsatz Kombination (5.8 Watt im Idle) sorgt für eine gute Laufzeit von knapp dell inspiron 1720 akku 5 bis 8 Stunden, selbst mit dem 4-Zellen Standard-Akku (4.100 mAh). Die geringe TDP des Atom-Prozessors (2.4 Watt) sorgt für eine geringe Energieaufnahme.

Der Standard-Akku, der auch in unserem Testgerät eingesetzt war, ist der VGP-BPL19. Es handelt akku dell latitude d820 sich um einen vier Zellen Lithium Ionen Akku mit 4.100 mAh. Sony spricht von acht Stunden Laufzeit. Wir sprechen von 4:01 bis 7:47 Stunden.

7:47 Stunden (467 Minuten) haben wir im Reader-Test des Akku Dell Latitude D620 BatteryEater ermittelt. Diese Laufzeit liegt aber fern der Realität, denn WLAN und Bluetooth sind deaktiviert, der Prozessor steht im Idle und der SSD-Speicher hat kaum zu schreiben.

Realistische Laufzeiten im Betrieb mit WLAN oder dem integriertem 3G-Modul (UMTS) liegen bei 4:47 (287 Minuten) bzw. 4:03 Stunden (243 Minuten). Weil Akku Dell Latitude D610 ein DVD-Film mangels optischen Laufwerks nicht möglich war, haben wir ein WMV von der Festplatte im Loop abgespielt (100 cd/m² Luminanz). Das Resultat ist mit 4:01 Stunden (241 Minuten) ganz brauchbar.

Akkulaufzeit

Die Energieaufnahme des 11.1-Zollers ist entsprechend der schwachen Komponenten und des SSD-Speichers Akku Dell Latitude D630 sehr gering und liegt auf Netbook-Niveau. 5.8 Watt benötigt das Vaio X13 im Idle, wenn maximale Energiesparmaßnahmen aktiv sind. Unter hoher Belastung steigt die Wirkleistung auf 14.5 Watt. Jetzt sind auch alle Funkmodule aktiv und die Luminanz auf Maximum geregelt.

Fazit

Sony beweist, dass man auch mit einem veralteten Atom Z550 noch Akku Dell Latitude D830 etwas anfangen kann. In Kombination mit einem schnellen 128 GB SSD-Speicher von Samsung bezeichnen wir die Anwendungsgeschwindigkeit als akzeptabel zum Surfen, E-Mails Abrufen oder im Word Tippen. Das VPC-X13D7E/B ist in Sachen Anwendungsleistung 14 Prozent (PCMark Vantage) schneller als Netbooks mit Intel Atom N450. Speziell die schnellen Lese- und Schreibzugriffe machen sich bei der täglichen Arbeit bemerkbar.

Das entspiegelte HD-Ready Akku HP Compaq 6910P Displaypanel (1.366 x 768) macht ebenso eine gute Figur. Mit einer guten Helligkeit sowie großzügigen horizontalen Blickwinkeln macht es die Arbeit angenehm.

Die Laufzeit von vier bis fünf Stunden (realistisch) ist kein Höchstwert für ein Subnotebook, aber im Einklang mit dem extrem Akku HP Compaq 6730B geringen Gewicht eine sehr gute Basis für einen ultramobilen Mini. Zusammen mit der hochwertigen Haptik des Carbonfaser-Materials entsteht ein eindrucksvoller Gesamteindruck.

Aber es gibt eine Schwäche bei der Verarbeitung: Die akku Carbonhülle des 11.1-Zollers ist extrem hart aber nicht verwindungssteif. Das wäre unproblematisch aber hinzu kommt: Der entnehmbare Akku mindert die Stabilität des Chassis. Mit einer geschlossenen Bodenplatte und einem festverbauten Akku hätte Sony diesen Schwachpunkt vermeiden können. Dies schadet dem Eindruck von Wertigkeit beträchtlich.

Das Vaio VPC-X13D7E/B gibt es nicht zum Netbook-Sparpreis. Es eignet sich daher für Leute, die ein Prestigeobjekt suchen. In akku Sachen Leichtigkeit und Exklusivität ist das Vaio X den Eee-PCs, MSI Winds und Aspire-Ones aber meilenweit voraus. Leider gilt das nicht für die Stabilität.

Vostro 3300 Emissionen

Geräuschemissionen

Im Betrieb unter geringer Last bleibt das getestete Vostro 3300 Akku Thinkpad T410 mit maximal 35.2 dB(A) angenehm leise. Überwiegend verweilt der Lüfter aber bei niedrigen 32.3 dB(A). Steigert man die Belastung, so nimmt auch der Lärmpegel zu. Während unseres mehrstündigen Stresstests wird schließlich ein Maximum von 46.2 dB(A) erreicht. Dies ist zwar deutlich hörbar aber aufgrund des niederfrequenten Rauschens noch einigermaßen gut zu verkraften. Auffälligkeiten in der Lüftersteuerung konnten während unseres Tests keine beobachtet werden.

Lautstärkediagramm

Weniger erfreulich ist die dell m1530 akku Temperaturentwicklung. Selbst im Betrieb unter geringer Last wird an der Unterseite an ein Maximum von 42.8 Grad Celsius gemessen. Von der Mitte nach rechts und hinten zu wird dabei die 40 Grad Schwelle überschritten, sodass ein Schoßeinsatz sogar im Office Einsatz unangenehm sein kann. Wenigstens bleibt die Oberseite hier noch temperaturmäßig im grünen Bereich.

Anders beim Betrieb unter Last. Nach einem mehrstündigen Stresstest erreichen wir Spitzenwerte von 55.4 Grad Celsius an der akku sony vgp-bps8 Unterseite und 47.2 Grad Celsius an der Oberseite. Hierbei erwärmt sich auch die rechte Handballenablage und der mittlere bis rechte Tastaturbereich spürbar.

Die CPU Kerne überschreiten dabei gelegentlich die 95 Grad Celsius Marke. Im CoreTemp wird nach einigen Stunden eine permanente Drosselung des ersten CPU-Kerns sichtbar. Ein unmittelbar nach dem Stresstest durchgeführter 3DMark06 Test zeigt dagegen im Vergleich zum Kalttest VGP-BPS8a allerdings nur vernachlässigbare Abweichungen.

Lautsprecher

Ein ansprechender Sound ist bei Office Geräte natürlich nicht so vordringlich wie etwa bei Multimediageräten. Das Vostro 3300 bietet nur einen einzelnen Lautsprecher im linken vorderen Bereich der Basiseinheit. Stereoklang ist damit akku sony vgp-bps2a natürlich nicht möglich. Wie zu erwarten ist das Klangspektrum bassarm, Höhen und Mittellagen wirken aber vergleichsweise ausgewogen. Für Hintergrundmusik etwa bei Präsentationen reicht der Klang jedenfalls aus. Dieser bleibt auch bei maximaler, und für kleinere Innenräume ausreichender Lautstärke, klar und unverzerrt.

Akkulaufzeit

Dem Vostro 3300 steht für unsere Laufzeittests ein Lithium-Ionen Akku mit nur 40 Wh Kapazität zur Verfügung. Maximal kann akku sony vgp-bps2b das Testgerät damit immerhhin etwas mehr als dreidreiviertel Stunden bei minimaler Helligkeit und abgeschaltenen WiFi-Modulen und Energiesparprofiel den BatteryEater Reader's Test durchführen. Unsere Internetrecherchen via WLAN finden nach etwa zweieinhalb Stunden bei maximaler Bildschirmhelligkeit und Energiesparprofil ein Ende. Zum Abspielen eines durchschnittlichen Hollywood Films ist die Akkulaufzeit mit etwa eineinhalb Stunden während unseres DVD-Tests mit Höchstleistungsprofil und maximaler Bildschirmhelligkeit aber deaktivierten Wireless-Funktionen etwas knapp bemessen. Unter Last, simuliert durch den BatteryEater Classic Test bei ebenfalls maximaler Helligkeit, Höchstleistungsprofil und eingeschalteten sony vgp-bps2c akku WiFi-Einheiten, sind es dann gerade einmal 55 Minuten stromnetzunabhängige Zeit.

Das Asus PL30JT-RO030X kann durch die Bank deutlich höhere Akkuleistungen erzielen, allerdings kommt diesem vor allem ein 84 Wh Akku, d.h. etwas mehr als die doppelte Kapazität, zu Gute. Das Fujitsu sony vgp-bps9 akku Lifebook S760 (GMA HD, Core i7 620M) tritt mit 62.64 Wh Akku an. Da es gerade in den praxisnahen Szenarios etwas mehr Strom braucht, sind die Akkulaufzeiten relativ zur Akkukapazität gesehen etwas kürzer als beim Vostro 3300.

Optional, aber in den Online Shops für Deutschland oder Österreich nicht auffindbar, soll auch ein 8 Zellen Akku verfügbar sein. In den USA kann sony vgp-bps9/b akku dieser zusätzlich zum Hauptakku um $99.- bestellt werden. Laut Hersteller steht dieser dann an der Unterseite 3/4 Zoll (1.905 Zentimeter) über.

Fazit

Das elegante Design des Vostro 3300 gefällt nicht nur, das Gehäuse, bei welchem auch Aluminium vgp-bps9/s akku großzügig zum Einsatz kommt, kann im Test auch durch seine Verarbeitung und Stabilität überzeugen.

Punkten kann der Laptop mit seiner guten Kommunikationsausstattung und seiner guten Anwendungsleistung. Ein Außeneinsatz ist aufgrund des matten Displays zumindest im Schatten problemlos möglich. Stoßgeschützte Festplatte und sony vgp-bps13a/b akku spritzwasserresistente Tastatur schützen dabei bei dem einen oder anderen Missgeschick vor Datenverlusten.

Für einen 13-Zöller geht die Schnittstellenausstattung in Ordnung. Ein eigener akku Dockingport und eine digitale Bildschnittstelle direkt am Gehäuse wären darüber hinaus noch wünschenswert.

Insgesamt ist es Dell gelungen, ein Einstiegsbusinesspaket mit umfangreichen Features zum günstigen Preis zu schnüren. Zudem kann das Vostro 3300 weitestgehend an die persönlichen Leistungsbedürfnisse angepasst werden. Beispielsweise stehen auch Modelle mit eigenständiger Nvidia GeForce 310M HP/Compaq Laptop Akku Grafikkarte zur Verfügung, über die Einstiegsklasse kommt man grafikmäßig jedoch auch damit nicht hinaus.

Is It Too Late for Windows Phone 7?

Microsoft's completely revamped mobile operating system takes a fresh Sony VGP-BPS8 Battery approach to smart phones, but its unique strengths might not be enough to take on Apple and Google.

Google, of course, followed up with Android, shipping its first handset the following year. RIM has built the largest market share on the back of its great keyboards and long battery life, and it recently gave its operating system a better browser and more consumer-friendly aesthetics.

During this time Microsoft has remained mum, even as its dated Windows Mobile OS, primarily targeted toward corporate customers, Sony VGP-BPS9A/B Battery continued to bleed market share. Finally, back in February, Microsoft unveiled its answer to Android and iOS: Windows Phone 7. For Microsoft, the Hub paradigm is what really makes Windows Phone 7 stand out. "It allows users to focus on what's most important and works the way they want," explained Aaron Woodman, director of consumer experiences for Microsoft. Although video calling may seem like it has come out of nowhere, the technology has been in the works for a very long time.
